In the Event log I have event ID 565 - I also get the errors 9782 stating the backup has completed the backup with errors - and no log files were truncated and ESE error 2007 - Shadow copy instance aborted. I have used eseutil to check them and they are in a clean state. The databases are mounted and healthy and I am able to dismount and remount them. The consistency check failed for the component. I have run the mailbox recovery powershell commands to find and fix any issues with the mailboxes and they have come back with no errors. The databases mount OK and email seems to be workingįine. I had a server crash last week and had to do a hard reset and since then Exchange will not back up successfully.
